Frequently Asked Questions

When will the painters be here?

You will receive a door flyer as notice a few days prior to your unit being painted. Painters will be working in your community Monday thru Friday during normal business hours.

What should I do to get ready?

  • Please leave any gates or screen doors unlocked to allow the painters access to your unit.
  • Please move anything close to the building (such as patio furniture, BBQs, hanging plants, potted plants, etc.) into the center of your patio or balcony so these items can be covered and protected.
  • On the day of washing and painting, please close all windows securely.

Why weren't the edges of my door painted?

All Entry doors are painted in the closed position during the week. The painters will return once a month on a Saturday to paint the edges when someone is home. If there is someone home during the week, we can paint the edges by appointment during the week. The door must then stay open for 3-4 hours to allow the paint to dry.

Will you clean my windows when you are done painting?

During the process of power-washing your building, your windows will have water washing over them. This is the extent of the washing that we will do to the windows. Please do not hire a professional window washer in the weeks leading up to painting, wait until we are done.

Should I take the day off from work?

Though we appreciate your desire to facilitate painting, our painters are specifically trained for work within communities and are accustomed to accessing patios and back yards without resident assistance. We simply post flyers so they won't surprise you.

What should I do with my dog?

Please contain ALL pets to the interior of your home on your preparation and painting days. This will help keep the painting process moving smoothly and reduce the risk to your pets. If you leave your pet outside, we will not be able to paint the area where they are enclosed.

Will you work around my plants?

In order to provide you with a complete paint job, we ask that any plants within 2 feet of the building be trimmed or pulled back to allow full access to all building surfaces. The painters will not trim or pull back plants for you.

Why wasn't my patio cover / security door painted?

All of the areas we have been hired to paint are listed on the Project Tracking Page. Usually Homeowner Installed items such as Security Screen Doors and Patio Covers are not included in the paint job. If the unpainted item IS listed on the Project Tracking Page and we have completed your building, please give us a call or email us so that we can come take care of it.
